Book character dress up day Friday 16 September

Cross Country

Middle and Senior School Cross Country
 event to be held at
Victoria Park, Wednesday 14 September
11am
postponement date Thursday 22nd

The children will be having an early morning tea (10.15 a m) and will assemble on the court area at 10.30 to walk to the park.   Parent assistance with supervision on the walk would be greatly           appreciated.  Also, parent helpers will be needed around the course.   Please contact the office or your child’s teacher if you are able to assist with (1) supervision on the walk,  (2) help around the course, or, (3) help with both.

Children will need shorts and a t-shirt to change into for their running event, and can change back into school uniform when they get back to school after the cross country.  A t-shirt of their house
colour can be worn if they wish.

Children MUST wear footwear to the park and we strongly recommend that they wear them for the run as one never knows just what “nasties” could be around the park.   If they want to run the event in bare feet, THEY MUST HAVE A NOTE.   We also ask that parents stay on the same side of the finishing area as the seated children, to avoid confusion for the runners as to where the finish line is.

The following start times are only a guide.  Please do not depend on them as a definite time:
11.00 a m Year 3 Boys
11.05 a m Year 3 Girls
11.15 a m Year 4 Boys
11.20 a m Year 4 Girls
11.30 a m Year 5 Boys
11.35 a m Year 5 Girls
11.45 a m Year 6 Boys
11.50 a m Year 6 Girls
